Uploading Artwork
You have the option to upload your artwork when placing an order, or you can send it to us via email. Our experienced graphic designers are here to bring your vision to life.
Large Files
For files exceeding 30MB, you can use file-sharing services such as WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Hightail to send them to us.
Preferred Formats
We recommend using AI, EPS, PDF, or SVG file formats. These vector format files are preferred because fonts should be converted to outlines or curves in Adobe Illustrator. You can check the product details page for the specific imprint area for each product.
Other Formats
We also accept PSD, PNG, and JPG files, which are raster format files with embedded fonts and images. Ensure the resolution is between 150-300 dots per inch at full print size.
Raster vs. Vector
Raster artwork consists of pixels and can lose quality when enlarged, while vector artwork is composed of paths and maintains its quality even when resized.
No Artwork or Design? We Can Assist!
If you don't have artwork files, let us know when placing your order. We can help you create simple designs, typeset, and layout for free. Just share your ideas, and we'll create something for you. Using our preferred formats may speed up the process.
After-Order Communication
After placing your order, check your email for messages from your Hi Standards Account Representative. They may have questions about your artwork.
Website Images
You can submit images from the internet, but please be aware that web images typically have a low resolution of 72 dpi and are not ideal for printing. Moreover, these images are often copyrighted. We can use them as references to create a customized design proof for you.
Color Matching
We offer color matching for certain products that are dye-sublimated or digitally printed. We use Pantone Solid Coated Colors, so provide your PMS color if available.
Imprint Area
We offer products with various imprint area sizes. We customize your artwork to ensure the best printing results for each product. You can find the size of the imprint area on the product page under the product details.
Converting Type to Outlines
If your artwork has text/fonts, please convert all text to outlines. In Adobe Illustrator, select your text, click "Type" in the menu, and choose "Create Outlines" from the dropdown list. Save this version of your file to send to us.
